Additional Notes

We run 3 squads of Hall Girls Tennis. Varsity- Coach Satlof - competitive, with cuts , 15 matches + state tournament play Meets daily for practice and matches. Roughly 20-24 players. Most freshmen will play JV unless they are coming with extensive competitive play and tennis skills 10 players will make the match play line-ups - With the ladder mostly fixed by early matches Tryouts are the first 2 weeks of practice - conditions can be poor, come to tryouts ready to compete - any out of season play is recommended. As much competitive play as possible is best. JV - Coach Laforte Players who want to compete, have previous tennis experience Opportunity to move and advance within squad ladder. Developmental Squad No cuts or previous tennis skills required. NOT INSTRUCTIONAL Will be a variety of games, drills and play Players can move from DV to JV during the season if they demonstrate level of play, interest, and competitiveness Both JV and Developmental practices will be affected by Varsity matches that may need to be rescheduled. We strive to provide the maximum amount of court time given the large numbers and limited courts available. All squad practices will include conditioning and running.
